Brighton Pier was built just after 1900 and several of the original displays and fixtures still survive today. The Victorians liked their walks and holidays by the sea for health reasons in order to escape city life and all the smog. During their era they used to spend most of the summer staying in the town. Today the pier has attractions which will suit most needs such as funfairs, rides, arcades, food outlets and bars. The attractions are opened most days.
Let's get the most obvious reason out of the way first. A car is a big, fast, dangerous machine that regularly leads to fatal accidents. Every day people are involved in crashes and there are deaths on the road. Observation at Junctions. You should be able to approach any road junction and assess it so that you can approach it at an appropriate speed so you can demonstrate good and effective observation and judgement. That means looking for other road users including cars, pedestrians and cycles that you should give way too. When emerging from any road junction you should do so without causing any other vehicle to brake or change direction.
